•Most common of the intermediate grade lympomas

General Gross Description
•As with all lymphomas, the affected node is enlarged
and appears homogeneous on cut surface
•Examples:

General Microscopic Description
•These tumors contain predominately large cells, which
may have both cleaved and non-cleaved nuclei.
•The cell of origin is believed to be the centroblast,
a cell in the center of the germinal follicle.

Clinical Correlation
•The long term prognosis is not good
